Job Description
Join Amazon Logistics as a Delivery Driver and become a crucial part of our customer-focused team. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to customers in and around Bath. This role requires excellent time management, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to navigate various routes. We provide comprehensive training and support to ensure your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver packages to residential and commercial locations.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and maintenance duties.
- Use hand-held devices for route navigation and delivery confirmation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Must be 21 years or older for insurance purposes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery or courier role.
- Familiarity with the Bath and surrounding areas.
- Experience using GPS and delivery management applications.
