Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Kitchen Helper / Dishwasher to join our busy team in Bridgend. This full-time role offers an immediate start for someone who is reliable, a team player, and eager to support our kitchen operations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency, ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and meets all hygiene standards. No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean all kitchen utensils, plates, and cutlery.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the guidance of the kitchen team.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen area, including floors, walls, and work surfaces.
- Ensure all dishes and equipment are stored correctly and efficiently.
- Remove rubbish and maintain waste disposal areas.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Support the Head Chef and kitchen team as needed during peak service times.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.

- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 1 or 2) is advantageous.
