Job Description
Are you passionate about television production and eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced studio environment? ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Television Broadcasting Intern to join our Studio Operations team in Munich. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn the ropes of live and pre-recorded television broadcasts, working alongside experienced professionals in state-of-the-art facilities. You will play a supporting role in ensuring smooth studio operations, from technical setup to on-air production.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with studio setup and technical preparations for live and pre-recorded broadcasts, including camera positioning, lighting adjustments, and audio checks.
- Support camera operators, sound engineers, and lighting technicians during rehearsals and live shows.
- Learn to operate various studio equipment under supervision, such as teleprompters, basic audio mixers, and video switchers.
- Help with signal routing, cabling, and performing routine equipment checks to ensure functionality.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the studio and control rooms.
- Shadow production teams and learn about different roles involved in television broadcasting.
- Assist with minor post-production tasks or content preparation as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong interest in television broadcasting, media production, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of studio environments and technical equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
- Proactive attitude, eager to learn, and demonstrate initiative.
- Fluency in English and German.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., Media Studies, Film Production, Communications, Broadcast Technology).
- Previous volunteer or personal project experience in video production, photography, or audio engineering.
- Familiarity with broadcast software or hardware (e.g., vision mixers, audio consoles, editing suites) is a plus.
