Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Sorters to join our fast-paced team in Brighton. This is an immediate start (‘Subito’) role, requiring individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are committed to efficiency and accuracy. Your primary focus will be on sorting packages, preparing them for dispatch, and ensuring a smooth flow of operations within our fulfillment center. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort incoming and outgoing packages based on destination and size requirements.
- Efficiently scan and track items using handheld devices to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Load and unload materials from vehicles and conveyances by hand or with equipment.
- Stack and organize products in designated warehouse areas.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and quality targets.
- Adhere to strict deadlines in a fast-paced setting to ensure timely dispatch.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) regularly throughout a shift.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in sorting tasks.
- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
- Team player with good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Experience with handheld scanning devices or inventory management systems.
- Forklift certification (though not required for all sorter roles, it can be beneficial).
