Job Description
As a Fulfillment Runner at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the swift and accurate movement of products within our fulfillment center. This position involves executing quick tasks and supporting various ‘sprint’ initiatives designed to optimize our operational flow. You will be responsible for moving items, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring that all orders are processed efficiently to meet customer delivery expectations. This is an on-site role within our dynamic New Port Richey facility, requiring strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute assigned quick tasks and 'sprint' initiatives to support daily fulfillment operations.
- Efficiently move and sort products, packages, and materials within the fulfillment center.
- Assist with inventory stocking, picking, packing, and loading as needed.
- Operate equipment safely, such as pallet jacks or hand trucks, after proper training.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily productivity goals.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 49 lbs.
- Comfortable standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and bending for extended periods.
- Basic computer navigation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or retail environment.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- A strong sense of urgency and commitment to meeting deadlines.
