Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and self-motivated Warehouse Janitorial Staff member to join our team in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our warehouse facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant working environment for all staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks, working independently to uphold our high standards of hygiene and organization. This is a vital position that contributes directly to the operational excellence and overall atmosphere of our logistics hub.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming warehouse floors and common areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and office spaces within the warehouse facility.
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers and vacuum cleaners.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and techniques.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 25 kg.
- Attention to detail and a thorough approach to tasks.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a janitorial or cleaning role, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
