Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our award-winning culinary team at Casa Enrique. This is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to contribute to a Michelin-starred establishment. The Chef de Partie will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee a specific kitchen section (e.g., hot appetizers, sauces, garde manger).
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Casa Enrique's recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest culinary and aesthetic standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory and manage stock rotation to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef on menu development and specials.
- Ensure efficient communication within the kitchen team during service.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures (HACCP).
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or relevant role in a fine dining restaurant.
- Excellent culinary skills with a strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a Michelin-starred or equivalent high-end establishment.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification from a recognized institution.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
- Knowledge of traditional Mexican cuisine techniques and ingredients.
