Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Waitress to join our vibrant team at Miller & Carter in Southampton. As a Waitress, you will be the face of our restaurant, responsible for delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction, and contributing to a positive and efficient service environment. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and seat them appropriately.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about food and beverages.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using our POS system.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and gracefully.
- Monitor guest tables to ensure satisfaction and respond promptly to any additional requests.
- Process payments and handle cash/card transactions accurately.
- Clear and reset tables in a timely manner.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and cleaning the dining area.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Required Skills
