Job Description
Are you passionate about travel and helping others plan their perfect getaway? TUI UK & Ireland is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Virtual Travel Booking Agents to join our dynamic remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with travel inquiries, booking flights, accommodations, car rentals, and excursions, and providing expert advice on destinations. Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers via phone, email, and chat to understand their travel needs and preferences.
- Research and recommend suitable travel packages, flights, accommodations, and activities.
- Process bookings, modifications, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
- Provide detailed information regarding travel requirements, visa regulations, and destination specifics.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints with professionalism and a problem-solving approach.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new destinations, and TUI product offerings.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and strive to exceed sales targets.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and empathetic approach.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and navigating multiple applications simultaneously.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home office environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or sales role.
- Familiarity with various travel destinations and popular tourist attractions.
- Experience with booking software or Global Distribution Systems (GDS) is a plus, but not required.
