Job Description

Join UPS as a professional Feeder Driver, operating tractor-trailer combinations over long distances to transport freight between UPS facilities. This role is a vital part of our network, ensuring packages move efficiently through our system. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of freight, primarily involving no-touch duties, meaning you will not be involved in the physical loading or unloading of packages within the trailer. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate tractor-trailer combinations safely and efficiently.

  • Maintain accurate logbooks and submit all required paperwork.
  • Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of freight during transit.

Required Skills

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
  • Clean driving record with no major violations.
  • Minimum of 3 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with doubles/triples endorsements.
  • Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
