Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Supermarket Night Replenishment Assistant to join our team in Norwich. This is a critical role ensuring our store is fully stocked and ready for customers each morning. Working during the night, you will play a vital part in maintaining our high standards of product availability and presentation. We offer a premium rate for night shifts and are looking for someone who can start immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently replenish shelves with new stock, ensuring correct product placement and rotation.
- Unload and organize deliveries, verifying quantities and quality of goods.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with stock counts and inventory management.
- Operate store equipment safely and effectively (e.g., pallet trucks, cage movers) after training.
- Support colleagues and work effectively as part of a night team.
Required Skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items regularly.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work night shifts and willingness to start immediately.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment.
- Experience with stock replenishment or inventory management systems.
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a retail setting.
