Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking Berry Pickers to join our seasonal team in Perth, Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for seasonal work with the added convenience of on-site lodging. As a Berry Picker, you will be crucial to our harvesting operations, ensuring our soft fruits are picked with care and efficiency to meet our high-quality standards. This role requires dedication, physical stamina, and a keen eye for detail. Training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary. We foster a supportive and friendly work environment, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Harvesting a variety of soft fruits (e.g., strawberries, raspberries, blueberries) by hand according to quality standards.
- Carefully placing picked berries into punnets or trays without causing damage.
- Working efficiently and effectively to meet daily picking targets.
- Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area in the fields.
- Working collaboratively with team members and supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
