Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Salad Mixing & Bagging Operative to join our Little Rock team. This full-time position involves working in a chilled environment to ensure the precise mixing and bagging of our premium salad products. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and efficiency while working as part of a dynamic production line. A premium rate is offered for this specialized chilled work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate mixing and bagging machinery according to established procedures.
  • Accurately measure and combine salad ingredients as per recipe specifications.
  • Ensure all bagged products meet weight, quality, and packaging standards.
  • Perform quality checks on raw materials and finished goods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to strict hygiene and food safety regulations.
  • Monitor equipment for proper functioning and report any malfunctions.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, especially in a chilled working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets efficiently.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a chilled environment (temperatures typically between 34-40°F / 1-4°C).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Good manual dexterity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or a similar environment.
  • Familiarity with HACCP principles.
  • Experience operating automated production machinery.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
