Job Description

Sport Chek is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Part-Time Retail Advisors in Ottawa. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Help customers find products that meet their needs and preferences.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
- Restock merchandise and assist with inventory management.
- Learn about Sport Chek products and services to provide informed recommendations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and maintain store standards.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
Required Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Enthusiasm for learning about sports, fitness, and retail operations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (or currently pursuing).
- A genuine interest in sports, health, and active living.
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a team-based role (volunteer or paid) is a plus, but not required.
- Basic computer proficiency.
