Job Description

Accenture is seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote HR Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within Canada. As a Remote HR Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the full recruitment lifecycle and developing, implementing, and interpreting HR policies to ensure compliance and support our organizational goals. You will be instrumental in attracting top talent and fostering a positive and equitable work environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management for various roles.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop accurate job descriptions, and create effective recruitment strategies.
  • Develop, update, and interpret HR policies and procedures in alignment with federal and provincial labor laws (specifically Quebec and Canada-wide).
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to employees and managers on HR policy interpretation, employment law, and best practices.
  • Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation and benefits packages, and advise on industry trends.
  • Participate in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases (HRIS).
  • Assist in the resolution of employee relations issues, ensuring fairness and compliance.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and employee engagement.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • Solid understanding of Canadian (federal and provincial, especially Quebec) employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience in HR policy development, implementation, and interpretation.
  • Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to HR challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CHRP/CRHA designation or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a large, global organization.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is a significant asset, given our presence in Quebec.
  • Familiarity with Workday or similar enterprise HR software.
