Job Description

Are you looking to start a career in finance or administration but lack direct experience? Desjardins Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Bookkeeping Assistant. This is an incredible ‘learn on the job’ opportunity for individuals passionate about numbers and eager to develop valuable bookkeeping skills from the comfort of their home. You will be an integral part of our finance team, supporting various departments with essential financial record-keeping. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal entry point into the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
  • Process invoices and expense reports accurately.
  • Prepare basic financial reports as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and internal stakeholders.
  • Learn and apply new bookkeeping software and procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of all financial information.
  • Perform other administrative and financial tasks as assigned.
