Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Pharmacy Logistics Hand to join our Markham distribution center team. This warehouse role focuses on the precise and careful handling of pharmaceutical products within a clean, organized, and temperature-controlled environment. You will be instrumental in the accurate receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of medical supplies and medications, ensuring all safety and regulatory guidelines are met. This is a critical role in our supply chain, directly impacting the health and well-being of Canadians. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, unpack, and inspect incoming pharmaceutical products.
- Store products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment according to precise instructions and quantities.
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit, adhering to pharmaceutical handling standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks or carts (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts as required.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily operational targets.
- Adhere strictly to all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a clean, controlled environment.
- Good physical stamina, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and data entry.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution setting, particularly within a pharmaceutical or healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of Good Distribution Practices (GDP) or other regulated industry standards.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., electric pallet jacks).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
