Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and organized Order Desk Assistant to join our dynamic team in Clifton, Bristol. This role is perfect for someone with strong administrative skills and an eye for detail, looking to contribute to a fast-paced logistics environment. As an Order Desk Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for order-related queries, ensuring smooth processing and exceptional customer service. You will handle a variety of administrative tasks, playing a crucial role in maintaining efficient order flow and supporting our operational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using internal systems.
- Respond to order-related inquiries via phone and email, providing timely updates and resolutions.
- Coordinate with warehousing and dispatch teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain precise records of all orders, transactions, and communications.
- Monitor order statuses and proactively communicate any potential delays or issues to customers.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock reconciliation as needed.
- Prepare routine reports on order volumes and customer feedback.
- Perform general administrative duties to support the order desk operations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in an administrative or customer service role (entry-level experience welcome).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
