Job Description
Join the Purolator team as a Multi-Drop Delivery Driver in Clarenville! We are looking for dedicated and efficient individuals to ensure timely and safe delivery of packages to our valued customers. This is a full-time position offering weekly pay and a flexible schedule to help you balance work and life. A company van is provided, meaning no wear and tear on your personal vehicle. Key Responsibilities
- Operate a company-provided van safely and efficiently to deliver packages on multi-drop routes.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and maintain cleanliness.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of packages to various residential and commercial locations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, resolving any issues professionally.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling and security of goods.
- Follow all company safety procedures and traffic laws.
- Utilize handheld devices for scanning, tracking, and proof of delivery.
- Manage delivery manifest and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 driver's license (or equivalent) with a clean driving abstract.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs (32 kg).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with GPS and navigation systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in multi-drop delivery or courier services.
- Familiarity with the Clarenville and surrounding Newfoundland and Labrador areas.
- Experience using handheld scanning and delivery management devices.
