Job Description

Join the Canadian Tire auto service team as a Mobile Rim Protector Applier, focusing specifically on alloy wheels. This role involves the precise application of rim protection solutions to a variety of vehicle wheels, ensuring a high standard of finish and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for preparing wheels, applying protective films or products, and performing quality checks. Attention to detail and a steady hand are crucial for this specialized role. This is an on-site position within our service center, providing a hands-on opportunity to enhance vehicle aesthetics and durability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare alloy wheels for the application of rim protectors, including cleaning and degreasing.
  • Precisely apply rim protection films or products according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Inspect finished applications for quality, ensuring a bubble-free and smooth finish.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper care of tools and equipment.
  • Assist customers with inquiries regarding rim protection services and products.
  • Document services performed and materials used accurately.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Required Skills

  • Excellent manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
  • High attention to detail and precision.
  • Ability to work meticulously and independently.
  • Basic understanding of automotive care and products.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in car detailing, tire services, or a similar automotive role.
  • Familiarity with various types of alloy wheels and their maintenance.
  • Valid G-class driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
