Job Description
Are you passionate about luxury grooming and eager to start a career in a prestigious environment? The Balmoral Hotel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mens Grooming Assistant to join our exclusive spa and wellness team. This is an immediate start opportunity for an individual who is keen to learn, possesses excellent interpersonal skills, and is committed to delivering exceptional service in a high-end setting. You will work alongside experienced professionals, assisting with a range of grooming services and ensuring our male clientele receive a first-class experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior barbers and therapists with grooming treatments, including shaves, haircuts, and facials.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all equipment and products are ready for use.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards of the grooming area and equipment.
- Welcome and escort clients, ensuring a comfortable and luxurious experience from arrival to departure.
- Manage client bookings and inquiries, providing clear and helpful information.
- Replenish product stock and assist with inventory management.
- Support the team in delivering a seamless and exceptional client journey.
- Learn and adapt to new grooming techniques and product knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

- Relevant beauty or barbering qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 1/2 in Hairdressing or Beauty Therapy).
- First Aid certification.
