Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Instagram Engagement Specialist to join our dynamic social media team. In this 100% remote role, you will be the direct voice of our brand on Instagram, responsible for monitoring and thoughtfully responding to comments and direct messages. Your primary goal will be to foster positive community interactions, address inquiries, and escalate complex issues, all while maintaining a consistent and engaging brand voice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor all incoming comments and direct messages on assigned Instagram accounts.
  • Craft clear, concise, and engaging responses that align with brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Address customer inquiries, provide information, and resolve basic issues efficiently and courteously.
  • Identify trends in user feedback and frequently asked questions to inform content strategy and customer service improvements.
  • Escalate sensitive or complex issues to the appropriate internal teams for resolution.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the Instagram platform, its features, and best practices for engagement.
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing and social media teams to ensure a cohesive brand presence.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional written communication and grammar skills in English.
  • Strong understanding of the Instagram platform and its community features.
  • Ability to adapt and maintain a consistent brand voice across all interactions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in social media engagement, community management, or customer service.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later).
  • Experience working in a digital marketing agency or a fast-paced environment.
