Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and client-focused Google Customer Success Manager with a passion for the tech startup ecosystem. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of high-growth tech startups, guiding them through their journey with Google Cloud services. Your mission will be to ensure maximum client satisfaction, drive adoption of Google technologies, and identify opportunities for growth and expansion. You will leverage your expertise in Google Cloud to provide strategic advice, overcome technical challenges, and foster long-term, successful partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of tech startup clients, acting as their trusted advisor for Google Cloud solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations.
  • Proactively identify client needs and align them with relevant Google Cloud products and services.
  • Drive adoption and effective utilization of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) features and capabilities.
  • Monitor client health, usage trends, and satisfaction, intervening proactively when necessary.
  • Collaborate with sales, technical, and product teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and ongoing support.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to track progress, showcase value, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide strategic guidance and best practices for leveraging Google technologies to achieve business objectives.
  • Educate clients on new Google Cloud product releases and features relevant to their business.
  • Act as a client advocate internally, ensuring feedback is captured and addressed by relevant teams.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or a similar client-facing role, preferably within the tech industry.
  • Demonstrated understanding of cloud computing concepts and services, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to client challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with the unique needs and challenges of tech startups.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Google Cloud certification (e.g., Cloud Digital Leader, Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect).
  • Experience working with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Prior experience in a consulting environment.
  • Understanding of SaaS business models and startup growth phases.
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
