Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and physically capable Home Gym Equipment Assembler to join our team in North York. This role involves the accurate and efficient assembly of various fitness machines and equipment, ensuring all products meet our high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble a wide range of home gym equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, weight benches, and multi-gyms, following detailed instructions and diagrams.
- Perform quality checks on assembled products to ensure functionality, safety, and adherence to specifications.
- Utilize various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and moving inventory as needed.
- Identify and report any defective parts or assembly issues to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using common hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and diagrams accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Safety-conscious and adherence to workplace safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a related hands-on role.
- Familiarity with various types of fitness or gym equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
