Job Description

Join L’Oréal USA as a Hair Dye Production Worker in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Peoria, Illinois. This is a hands-on factory role involving shift work, crucial to the production and packaging of our world-renowned hair dye products. You will be responsible for operating machinery, monitoring production lines, and ensuring the quality and safety of products in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are committed to precision, teamwork, and upholding our high manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production machinery for mixing, filling, and packaging hair dye products.
  • Load raw materials into production equipment and ensure proper material flow.
  • Conduct routine quality checks on products at various stages of production.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, performing regular sanitation tasks.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report larger malfunctions to maintenance.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and schedules.
  • Accurately complete production logs and documentation.
  • Assist with inventory management and material handling as needed.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Basic understanding of factory safety procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to report issues and coordinate with colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in cosmetics, food, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and quality control procedures.
  • Experience operating production machinery.
