Job Description
As a Profile & Credential Verifier – Data Security Role at PwC, you will play a critical part in maintaining the integrity and security of our systems and client data. This role involves meticulous verification of user profiles, credentials, and access requests to ensure strict adherence to our data security policies and regulatory compliance standards. You will be responsible for conducting thorough checks, identifying potential security risks, and escalating discrepancies as required. This position is ideal for an individual with a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of data privacy principles, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of information security. Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive verification of user profiles and credentials for new and existing employees, contractors, and third-party access requests.
- Conduct regular audits of access privileges to ensure they align with job roles and security policies.
- Identify and report suspicious activities or potential security breaches related to credential usage.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all verification processes and outcomes.
- Collaborate with IT security, HR, and compliance teams to resolve verification discrepancies and implement security enhancements.
- Assist in the development and refinement of data security verification procedures and guidelines.
- Stay informed about the latest data security threats, compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR), and best practices.
- Provide support for internal and external audits related to access management and data security.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in using verification tools and databases.
- Basic understanding of data security principles and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a data entry, verification, administrative, or security-related role.

- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified in Cybersecurity).
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field.
