Job Description
Are you a motivated and friendly 17-year-old looking for your first job experience in a vibrant and supportive environment? Planet Fitness in Wesley Chapel is seeking enthusiastic Teens to join our team as a Receptionist. This entry-level role is perfect for someone eager to learn, interact with members, and contribute to a positive atmosphere. You will be the first point of contact for our members, providing excellent customer service and helping ensure smooth daily operations of our wellness center. No prior experience is necessary; we’ll provide all the training you need to succeed!
Key Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests with a warm and friendly welcome upon arrival.
- Check members in using our club management system.
- Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and take messages as needed.
- Provide information about club facilities, services, and membership options.
- Handle basic member inquiries and resolve minor issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Assist with light administrative tasks and club promotions.
- Ensure all club policies and procedures are followed.
- Promote a positive and inclusive 'Judgement Free Zone' environment.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude.
- Ability to learn and use computer systems for member check-ins.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be 17 years old at the time of application.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in high school or equivalent program.
- Interest in health, fitness, or wellness.
- Prior experience in customer service (e.g., volunteer work, school events) is a plus, but not required.
