Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shopify Specialist with a strong focus on B2B and wholesale channels to join our dynamic e-commerce team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing, optimizing, and expanding our Shopify Plus platform for business-to-business and wholesale operations. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and IT teams to ensure our digital storefronts meet the unique needs of our wholesale partners, driving efficiency and growth. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Shopify’s capabilities, third-party integrations, and best practices for creating scalable B2B e-commerce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize our Shopify Plus B2B and wholesale stores, ensuring smooth operation and performance.
- Implement and configure Shopify apps and integrations tailored for B2B functionality (e.g., custom pricing, bulk ordering, customer groups, payment gateways).
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to define, develop, and execute strategies for enhancing the wholesale customer journey and increasing conversion rates.
- Conduct regular audits of the Shopify platform to identify opportunities for improvement, bug fixes, and performance optimization.
- Manage product data, inventory, and order fulfillment processes specific to B2B and wholesale channels.
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams and wholesale partners on Shopify platform usage.
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify updates, new features, and industry best practices for B2B e-commerce.
- Work with developers for custom theme modifications, API integrations, and troubleshooting.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to inform platform enhancements and new feature development.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience working with Shopify Plus, specifically in a B2B or wholesale environment.
- Proven track record of managing and optimizing Shopify stores, including app integration and theme customization.
- Strong understanding of B2B e-commerce principles, including pricing tiers, customer accounts, and order workflows.
- Proficiency with Shopify's admin panel, Liquid templating language, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with third-party Shopify apps relevant to B2B operations (e.g., wholesale apps, ERP integrations, CRM tools).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with ERP systems and their integration with Shopify.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce platforms.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools and strategies for B2B.
- Shopify Certifications are a plus.
