Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Financial Planner to join our dynamic team in Leicester. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for building lasting relationships with our clients, understanding their financial goals, and providing comprehensive, tailored advice to help them achieve their aspirations. You will navigate clients through complex financial landscapes, offering expert guidance on investments, retirement planning, protection, and estate planning. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial reviews with clients to understand their current situation, goals, and risk tolerance.
- Develop and implement bespoke financial plans covering investments, pensions, protection, and inheritance tax planning.
- Regularly review client portfolios and financial plans, making adjustments as necessary to align with changing circumstances and market conditions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial products, regulations, and market trends.
- Ensure all advice is compliant with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and grow client relationships through referrals and networking.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including banking specialists and wealth managers, to provide holistic financial solutions.
- Prepare and present clear, concise financial reports and recommendations to clients.
Required Skills
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
- Proven track record of success in a financial planning or advisory role (minimum 4 years)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Thorough understanding of financial markets, products, and regulatory frameworks.
- Client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
- Proficiency in financial planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Chartered Financial Planner status (or working towards)
- Experience with High Net Worth (HNW) clients
- Strong local network within the Leicestershire area
