Job Description
As a Detailing Team Lead (Junior) at CarMax in North Las Vegas, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our vehicles present impeccably to customers. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for automotive aesthetics and a desire to grow into a leadership position. You will assist in overseeing the detailing team, ensuring high-quality work, efficient processes, and a positive team environment, all while actively participating in the detailing process. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising and guiding a team of detailers to achieve daily production and quality targets.
- Perform high-quality interior and exterior detailing, including washing, waxing, polishing, vacuuming, and shampooing.
- Inspect finished vehicles to ensure CarMax's rigorous quality standards are met before customer delivery.
- Train new team members on detailing techniques, safety protocols, and company procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing bay and equipment.
- Collaborate with service managers to schedule workflow and prioritize tasks.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in automotive detailing or reconditioning.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic leadership or supervisory aptitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a team lead or supervisory role.
- Knowledge of various detailing products, tools, and techniques.
- Certification in automotive detailing.
