Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Billing Support Agent to join our team in Oshawa. This is a stable, full-time role for individuals committed to providing high-accuracy support and exceptional customer service. As a Billing Support Agent, you will be the primary point of contact for customers regarding their billing inquiries, ensuring a smooth and satisfactory experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat regarding billing statements, charges, payments, and account balances.
  • Investigate and resolve billing disputes, discrepancies, and issues with a high degree of accuracy and empathy.
  • Process payments, issue refunds, and make necessary adjustments to customer accounts.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions in the billing system.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to escalate and resolve complex billing problems.
  • Educate customers on billing processes, payment options, and service terms.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and service level agreements.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a customer service or administrative role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanor under pressure.
  • Ability to empathize with customers and de-escalate difficult situations.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a billing support or call center environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and billing systems.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Ability to communicate in French is an asset.
