Job Description
Join XPO Logistics as a Dedicated Route Driver in Pasco, WA! We are seeking professional and safety-conscious drivers to operate consistent, no-touch freight routes. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods, representing XPO with the highest standards of service and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) on designated routes.
- Ensure on-time delivery of freight to specified destinations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
- Comply with all DOT regulations, company policies, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate logs and records, utilizing electronic logging devices (ELDs).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws.
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
- Keep vehicle clean and in good working order.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major preventable accidents or violations.
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS).
- Proficiency with ELD systems and other dispatch technology.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with dedicated routes or LTL freight.
- HazMat endorsement (not required for all routes, but a plus).
- Familiarity with the Pasco, WA and surrounding regional areas.
