Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Folder & File Sorter for AI to join our remote team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for meticulously organizing, categorizing, and maintaining large volumes of digital data, files, and folders that feed into our advanced AI systems. Your work will ensure the accuracy, accessibility, and integrity of the datasets, which is foundational to the development and performance of our AI models. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute from anywhere in Canada. Key Responsibilities
- Categorize and label digital files and folders according to predefined guidelines and taxonomies.
- Perform routine data audits to ensure accuracy and consistency across all datasets.
- Maintain strict adherence to data governance and security protocols.
- Collaborate with AI researchers and data scientists to understand data requirements and improve organizational strategies.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or anomalies in data structure or content.
- Develop and implement efficient file management systems and practices.
- Contribute to documentation of data organization processes and best practices.
- Manage access permissions for various data repositories as needed.
Required Skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency with common operating systems (Windows, macOS) and file management tools.
- Strong understanding of hierarchical file structures and metadata concepts.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud storage platforms (e.g., Azure Blob Storage, OneDrive, SharePoint).
