Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and thorough Commercial Cleaner to join our team in Didcot, Oxfordshire. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of commercial premises, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for employees and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of cleaning duties, upholding our commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping of floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to the highest standards.
- Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Replenish supplies in restrooms and kitchenettes.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and used safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift light to moderate items.
- Good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or a similar role.
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations.
- Full UK driving license (desirable but not essential).
