Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bilingual Receptionist fluent in both Spanish and English to join our dynamic team in Wesley Chapel, FL. This is a high-demand position crucial for ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for all our patients and visitors. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact, providing exceptional administrative support and maintaining a positive front office environment. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome patients and visitors in both English and Spanish.
- Answer and direct incoming calls professionally, managing multi-line phone systems.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring efficient calendar management.
- Manage patient check-ins and check-outs, including registration and payment processing.
- Maintain organized patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Provide information to patients regarding services, policies, and procedures.
- Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues courteously and efficiently.
- Translate essential information between medical staff and Spanish-speaking patients when necessary.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times.
Required Skills
- Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (1+ year) as a Receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with medical scheduling software (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
