Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle, adhering to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Transport goods to various destinations within the local service area.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery and pickup of freight.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws.
- Assist with loading and unloading freight as needed, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with driving and freight handling
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A CDL driving experience
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs)
- Familiarity with local Pasco and surrounding area routes
