Job Description
Are you passionate about making vehicles shine, especially their wheels? Discount Tire is seeking a dedicated Mobile Tire Shiner to join our growing team in Aurora, CO. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional results directly to our customers. As a Mobile Tire Shiner, you will be responsible for traveling to customer locations, performing thorough cleaning, polishing, and detailing of tires and wheels, ensuring they look brand new. We provide all the necessary tools and training to help you succeed in giving wheels that ‘new look focus’ our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to various customer locations within the Aurora area to perform mobile tire and wheel detailing services.
- Thoroughly clean, degrease, and shine tires to remove dirt, grime, and brake dust.
- Perform meticulous cleaning and polishing of all types of wheels (alloy, chrome, painted, etc.) to restore their luster.
- Apply appropriate tire dressings and sealants to protect and enhance their appearance.
- Inspect tires and wheels for any issues or damage, reporting findings to customers or management.
- Maintain a clean and organized mobile detailing vehicle and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Manage scheduling and logistics for daily appointments efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company standards.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for automotive aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from the company dispatch location (if applicable).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive detailing, car washing, or a similar service role.
- Familiarity with various tire and wheel types and cleaning products.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
