Job Description

Rise FX offers an incredible opportunity for aspiring artists to gain hands-on experience as a 3D Animation & VFX Intern within our bustling post-production house in Munich. This internship is designed for individuals eager to immerse themselves in a professional studio environment, learn from industry veterans, and develop their skills across various stages of the VFX pipeline. You will support our teams in creating stunning visual effects, assisting with modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, lighting, rendering, and compositing tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior artists with modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation tasks.
- Support the lighting and rendering teams in various project stages.
- Contribute to compositing efforts under supervision, integrating 3D elements into live-action footage.
- Organize and maintain digital assets, ensuring proper file management and version control.
- Conduct research and development for new tools, techniques, and workflows.
- Attend team meetings and actively participate in creative discussions.
- Provide general studio support as needed, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in 3D animation software (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3ds Max).
- Basic understanding of VFX principles and pipeline.
- Strong portfolio showcasing personal 3D projects, animations, or VFX work.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Ability to take direction and adapt to feedback.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant animation, VFX, or art program.
- Familiarity with compositing software (e.g., Nuke, After Effects).
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.
- Previous experience with rendering engines (e.g., Arnold, V-Ray).
