Job Description

Are you looking to start your career in customer service with a company that invests in your growth? BT Group is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Call Centre Agents in Redditch. This is an entry-level position where no prior experience is required, as full, comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with all the skills you need to succeed. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, helping them with a range of queries and ensuring a positive experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer calls with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Address customer inquiries, provide information, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Accurately document all customer interactions and resolutions in our CRM system.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through empathetic and effective communication.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including data protection guidelines.
  • Participate actively in ongoing training and development programs.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and improve service quality.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong listening skills with a patient and empathetic approach.
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate various software systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., retail, hospitality) is a plus, but not essential.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications services or products.
