Job Description

As a Remote Logistics Tally Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our global shipment data. This position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States. You will be responsible for meticulously monitoring online shipment manifests, comparing them against digital inventory records, and identifying discrepancies to prevent delays and ensure smooth logistical flow. This is a vital position within our operations, requiring a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and reconcile online shipment manifests and digital inventory records daily.
  • Identify and report discrepancies between physical and digital counts of goods.
  • Utilize various internal software tools to track shipment status and document findings.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and logistics coordinators regarding discrepancies and resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate and organized digital records of all tallies and reports.
  • Assist in generating daily, weekly, and monthly reports on shipment accuracy and efficiency.
  • Adhere to all company safety and operational policies and procedures.

Required Skills

  • Excellent data entry and computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a logistics, warehouse, or inventory role.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems or logistics software.
  • Associate's degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
