Job Description

We are seeking experienced and highly reliable Team Drivers to specialize in the secure transportation of high-value electronics. This critical role involves operating state-of-the-art equipment to deliver sensitive cargo across long distances, ensuring its integrity and timely arrival. Successful candidates will demonstrate exceptional driving skills, a strong commitment to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively as part of a two-person driving team. You will be responsible for maintaining detailed logs, adhering to all DOT regulations, and upholding XPO Logistics’ reputation for secure and efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate commercial motor vehicles as part of a two-person team to transport high-value electronics across designated routes.
  • Ensure the safe and secure loading, unloading, and transportation of sensitive cargo.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
  • Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELDs) and complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and customers.
  • Represent XPO Logistics professionally at all times.
  • Troubleshoot and report any mechanical issues or incidents promptly.
  • Adhere to strict delivery schedules while prioritizing safety.

Required Skills

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum of 2 years verifiable Class A CDL driving experience
  • Clean driving record (MVR)
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
  • Experience with team driving operations
  • Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated reliability and commitment to security

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience transporting high-value or sensitive cargo
  • Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and transportation management systems (TMS)
  • Active TWIC card or ability to obtain one
  • Security clearance or experience with secure freight handling
