Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Makeup Assistant to join our esteemed beauty team. This role is perfect for an aspiring makeup artist eager to gain hands-on experience in a luxury spa setting, with a particular focus on bridal and media makeup. You will work closely with our senior makeup artists, assisting with client consultations, product preparation, and application techniques. Weekend availability is a mandatory requirement for this dynamic role. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior makeup artists during client consultations and makeup application sessions.
- Prepare makeup stations, ensuring all tools, products, and equipment are meticulously sanitized and organized.
- Perform basic makeup applications under direct supervision, following established protocols and client preferences.
- Provide support during bridal trials, wedding day preparations, and off-site media shoots.
- Manage and monitor makeup inventory, restocking supplies as needed and ensuring product freshness.
- Maintain the cleanliness and overall presentation of the makeup studio and treatment areas.
- Greet clients warmly, assist with check-in, and provide exceptional client service at all times.
- Learn and adapt to new makeup techniques, products, and trends within the industry.
- Uphold the high standards of professionalism and client confidentiality expected at Spa St. James.
- Ensure consistent availability for weekend shifts, which are crucial for bridal and media bookings.
