Job Description
Are you meticulous, analytical, and have a deep understanding of internet search engines? Telus International is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Remote Search Engine Evaluators. In this crucial role, you will play a vital part in improving the quality and relevance of major search engine results (Google, Bing, etc.) by providing accurate and insightful feedback on web pages, advertisements, and various search queries. This is a 100% remote, flexible contract position perfect for those who enjoy working independently and contributing to the global digital landscape from the comfort of their home.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate search engine results for accuracy, relevance, and quality based on provided guidelines.
- Analyze and rate the usefulness and intent of search queries and their corresponding results.
- Provide constructive and detailed feedback on a variety of content types, including web pages, images, and videos.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, spam, or low-quality content.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding project details and proprietary information.
- Adhere to project guidelines and quality standards to ensure consistent and high-quality evaluations.
- Manage time effectively to meet daily evaluation targets.
Required Skills
- Fluent in English (reading and writing)
- Strong understanding of internet search engines and current web trends
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Personal computer or laptop with a modern operating system
- Experience navigating various online platforms and tools
