Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Retail Banker to join our team in Scottsdale, Arizona. In this role, you will be the face of Wells Fargo, providing exceptional service and building lasting relationships with our clients. You will assist customers with a wide range of financial needs, from routine transactions to identifying opportunities for new products and services that align with their goals. A professional uniform will be provided to ensure you always look your best while representing our brand. This is an on-site position requiring strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
  • Open new accounts (checking, savings, CDs) and assist customers with setting up online banking services.
  • Identify customer financial needs and cross-sell appropriate bank products and services, such as credit cards, loans, and investment referrals.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including BSA/AML guidelines.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay updated on bank offerings and industry trends.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and branch success.
  • Ensure compliance with all security and operational procedures.

Required Skills

  • 1+ year of experience in customer service or sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a banking or financial services role.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with sales goal achievement.
