Job Description
Are you an enthusiastic and ambitious individual looking to kickstart your career in the property market? Hunters Estate Agents in Harrogate is seeking a Trainee Letting Agent to join our thriving team. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to learn all aspects of property lettings from the ground up, with full training and support provided. You’ll work closely with experienced agents, assisting clients, conducting viewings, and contributing to the smooth operation of our busy office. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior Letting Agents with daily tasks and administrative duties.
- Conduct property viewings with prospective tenants, showcasing properties effectively.
- Handle inbound enquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing excellent customer service.
- Prepare property details, marketing materials, and tenancy agreements.
- Maintain accurate records and update property management systems.
- Liaise with landlords and tenants, ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Support the team in achieving letting targets and maintaining high service standards.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to develop industry knowledge and skills.
Required Skills
- Full UK driving license and access to a car.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Highly organised with good attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or sales role.
- Local knowledge of the Harrogate area.
- An interest in the property market and real estate.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
