Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Spa Beauty Therapist to join our esteemed team at The Queens Hotel Cheltenham. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to deliver exceptional beauty and wellness treatments, ensuring an unparalleled luxury experience for our guests. You will be instrumental in maintaining our spa’s reputation for excellence, providing a range of treatments and personalized consultations in a serene and sophisticated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of spa treatments including facials, massages, manicures, pedicures, and waxing to the highest standard.
- Provide professional and friendly consultations, recommending suitable treatments and retail products to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards of treatment rooms and equipment.
- Ensure all guests receive a consistent, high-quality, and personalized spa experience.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage appointment bookings and record client details accurately.
- Actively promote spa services and retail products to enhance guest experience and achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with the spa team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Required Skills
- NVQ Level 2 & 3 or equivalent in Beauty Therapy.
- Proven experience as a Beauty Therapist, preferably within a luxury spa or hotel environment.
- Excellent knowledge of a wide range of beauty treatments and products.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Impeccable personal presentation and professional demeanor.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional qualifications in specialized treatments (e.g., hot stone massage, advanced facials).
- Experience with luxury skincare brands.
- First Aid certification.
- Proficiency in spa software systems.
