Job Description
Are you interested in receiving complimentary or deeply discounted esthetic treatments while getting paid for your time? Academy Canada’s Esthetics program is seeking enthusiastic and reliable models to help our students hone their skills in a supervised, real-world setting. This unique opportunity allows you to experience a variety of professional beauty services, from facials and manicures to waxing and specialized skin treatments, all performed by supervised students. You’ll play a crucial role in our students’ education, providing them with invaluable practical experience as they work towards becoming licensed professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrive punctually for scheduled appointments.
- Communicate clearly about any allergies, sensitivities, or specific preferences regarding treatments.
- Provide constructive and polite feedback to students regarding their technique (as requested).
- Maintain a professional and cooperative demeanor throughout the treatment sessions.
- Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols established by the academy.
- Commit to scheduled treatment sessions, understanding the educational importance of your presence.
Required Skills
- Openness to receive various esthetic treatments.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to sit or lie still for extended periods during treatments.
- A positive and cooperative attitude.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a beauty model (not required but a plus).
- A genuine interest in esthetics and self-care.
- Flexibility in scheduling.
- Comfortable with being observed by instructors and other students.
