Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Seasonal Maple Syrup Bottling Laborers to join our team for the upcoming maple syrup season. This physically active role involves working in a warm, often humid environment to ensure our premium maple syrup is bottled, labeled, and prepared for distribution efficiently and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor bottling and capping machinery.
- Inspect bottles for quality control, ensuring proper fill levels and seal integrity.
- Apply labels accurately and consistently to bottled syrup.
- Pack finished products into boxes and prepare for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist with other production tasks as needed during the maple syrup season.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Lift and move boxes of product, up to 25 lbs consistently.
Required Skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Reliable transportation to and from the farm.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in food production, bottling, or warehouse settings.
- Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
- Experience working in a warm or humid environment.
