Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and efficient Industrial Packer to join our dynamic team in Coventry. This full-time position operates Monday to Friday, offering a top hourly rate for individuals committed to precision and quality. As an Industrial Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our high-value automotive components and finished goods are packed securely and efficiently for dispatch, meeting Jaguar Land Rover’s exacting standards. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pack automotive parts and finished products according to specified procedures and quality standards.
- Inspect items for defects or damage before packing and report any discrepancies.
- Operate basic packing machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including labelling, scanning, and documentation.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as required.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
- Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving items, as per safety guidelines.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderately heavy items.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels and completing simple documentation.
