Job Description
Are you passionate about creativity, design, and bringing beautiful visions to life? Lavender Green Flowers is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Event Decorator Assistant to join our dynamic team in Shoreditch, London. This is a unique opportunity for individuals eager to learn the art of floral arrangement, table styling, and event décor from industry experts. While prior experience is beneficial, a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a genuine desire to learn are paramount. You will work closely with our lead designers, assisting in all stages of event production, from conceptualization and preparation to on-site setup and breakdown, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead florists and designers with floral preparation, including conditioning, trimming, and arranging flowers.
- Support the creation and assembly of event décor elements, such as centerpieces, installations, and decorative displays.
- Help with the packing and loading of materials for events, ensuring all items are accounted for and safely transported.
- Assist with on-site setup and breakdown of event decorations, adhering to strict timelines and design specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
- Learn and apply best practices in floral care, design techniques, and event logistics.
- Communicate effectively with team members and contribute positively to a collaborative work environment.
- Undertake general administrative and organizational tasks as required.
